An executive called asking for time management training for his team.  He felt that his team members were reacting to pressures rather than effectively prioritizing. 

 

We often receive calls for training.  However, training only helps if the problem is skills related.  When other factors cause the problem, training is a waste.

 

A few well placed questions revealed that this executive had never actually set clear objectives and performance standards for his team.  (Prior to this conversation, he thought he had!  This, too, is common.)  We decided that the place to begin was not in effective time management, but in articulating clear expectations.

 

Over a period of several weeks, we worked with his team to clarify their strategy and develop innovative improvements to their business model.  Finally, this was followed by several months of teleconferences to support them with the implementation.

 

Our client noticed immediate improvement in their behavior and

performance - plus, an almost immediate jump in revenues!
